Do you take cards onboard?

Sadly no, there is usually a cash bar open, depending on your event. You might find it useful to know there are a number of cashpoints locally.

Do we tip the staff?

We DON'T add a service charge to your bill and cash tipping is descretionary, but our staff who will meet your every need as politely and obliging as you can expect are ALWAYS very greatful for your recognition.

It's NEVER expected and only if you feel the staff deserve it.

What is the maximum capacity of the Princess Caroline?

We can accommodate up to 120 guests for your event. The more guests you have, the better the deals we can offer.

How do I find the Princess Caroline?

Princess Caroline is berthed in Town Quay Marina in Southampton.

Location: Town Quay SO14 2AQ.

You turn left into where our Town Quay office is based which takes you through double doors onto the pontoon & you will see the Princess Caroline.

This is where the red jet goes to I. of W. & therefore much better as closer in towards town for after party fun and/or the hotels etc.


There is parking on the quay, if you only want a minute walk, but please be aware that it’s more expensive than Council parking.

For those driving I would recommend either parking at Gloucester Square (SO14 2GH), which is about 5 minutes walk from Town Quay, or alternatively using the Ocean Car Park (SO14 3TJ), which is about 10 minutes walk away. Gloucester Square is council owned so is £2 flat rate after 6pm – Ocean is free after 6pm.

Boarding times for the Princess Caroline are arranged as per each individual event (Please arrive from 30 minutes ahead of scheduled departure time)

Can we bring our own food on board?

Due to strict Health & Safety Legislation requirement applied by law regarding foodstuff, can we respectfully request that guests do not bring any food items whatsoever on board. It is absolutely imperative that "All Food" is prepared by the Galley Staff aboard the Princess Caroline in order to comply with the aforementioned Health & Safety requirement.

The exception is that with prior arrangement Celebration Desserts / Cakes which may be able to be served according to our legal requirements. Please call to discuss any further details required.
